Erik Stevens, known as Killmonger, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in the film Black Panther (2018).
Born N'Jadaka in Oakland, California, he is the son of Prince N'Jobu, brother to Wakandan King T'Chaka. After his father's death at the hands of T'Chaka, N'Jadaka was left orphaned and fueled by a desire for revenge against Wakanda for abandoning him and his father.
He developed exceptional combat skills and a keen intellect, serving as a US Navy SEAL. He ultimately planned to seize the Wakandan throne and use Wakanda's advanced technology to empower oppressed people of African descent worldwide, challenging T'Challa's isolationist policies.
